Job Title: Software Engineer

Job Duties:
Extensively use the J2EE design patterns like Session Façade, Business Object (BO), Service Locator, Data Transfer Object (DTO) and Data Access Object (DAO), Singleton, Factory for application design and development. Use distributed application architecture, Object Oriented Programming, SOAP Web Service using RAD, Restful (REST) service using Jersey, JAX-RS and spring framework to build best in class Java/J2EE based application/product. Work on Architectural Design and Development setup like WAS Application Server Clustering, IBM MQ Clustering, Back-out/Exception Queue Setup, JMS Messaging engine, Golden Gate etc. Develop Java based web-services Restful Web Services, SOAP/WSDL Web Services, Amazon Web Services (AWS). Design and document the functional & technical solution with inputs from Business/Technical teams and conduct periodic reviews and provide technical support to Operations and Infrastructure teams for various deployment environments. Use Jenkins/SVN/RLM Continuous Integration Server-Installation, Configuration, Design and Administration and integrate these tools with other systems. Design and implement interface and messaging protocols between Application modules. Analyze performance metrics generated by QA Team and determine performance bottlenecks and resolution. Prepare Installation Guides, User Manuals, Standard Operational Procedure, Troubleshooting Guides for Operations/Support and Service Management. Use build tools for application packaging and deployment in different client environments. Design and develop presentation layer technologies, use Data models, spring, hibernate-config.xml, hibernate mapping files & HQL for building the persistence layer. Performance optimization for low latency critical application from poor performance into a high performance J2EE-based application. Develop Proof of concept Microservices from scratch using IBM API Connect, Google Cloud Platform and AWS Lambda Serverless framework. Investigate and analyze reported defects and recommend solutions including code changes, data updates, or configuration modifications while using defect tracking tools. Implement Build and Deployment scripts using Python, Shell script, Bamboo and Maven. Refactor web-services/interface to fetch data from multiple upstream/downstream systems to populate the application UI.

Job Requirements:
Require Bachelor’s Degree or Foreign Equivalent in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering or related field. Require five (5) years of experience in job offered, Associate Consultant, Consultant, Senior Project Lead, Project Manager, Software Consultant or related using JAVA, J2EE, RESTful Web Services, JUnit, Agile methodology, and JSON. Require travel/relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the United States.
